Aquila Venture Capital Partners is a global venture capital firm founded by an exceptional team of seasoned proven international business leaders. We work with a different array of companies in different industries and specialize in helping companies achieve global expansion into Latam. Our team operates out of offices in Argentina, Chile and USA, offering a wide range of domain expertise.
Aquila is a truly global VC. We think being a “global investor” constitutes investing in more than one single foreign market. Our portfolio includes companies with operations that range from local to regional focuses, and headquarters that vary from USA to Latam. By helping new ideas, services and technologies eschew geographical barriers and enter new markets, Aquila is helping to connect ecosystems of the Latam geographies. Moving in that direction we have signed an agreement with one of the top companies helping investors from Latam to get their investor Visa or the green card, to complete our portfolio of solutions for the investors in our ventures.
Fernando Musso
CEO
Fernando Musso is an international executive with solid experience in managing high performance teams, specialized in crisis management, reorganizations, changes, start-ups, mergers, acquisitions. He has a strong financial track record, having been actively involved in all aspects of the role, from derivatives trading, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions to the strategic direction of corporate finance. Fernando leads Aquila Venture Capital Partners. Prior to his current role, he was DHL's Managing Director for the Southern Cone, managing operations worth more than $200 million with a workforce of 3,000. Fernando has served on DHL's board for Latin America, leading very successful expansions, startups and corporate closing processes. He has held management positions in multinational companies such as DHL, Ryder International, Hutchison Telecom and Exxel Group, among others. Fernando holds a CPA degree from Universidad e Belgrano and a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Universidad de Palermo. He holds a graduate certification in Venture Capital from Wharton University.
